Genesis is chemically similar to an acrylic--but the look and feel are more like that of an oil based paint. Problems with drying time, odor, toxicity, set-up, and clean-up have been eliminated. Genesis gives you the freedom to paint with complete and total control. Genesis paints are odorless and non-toxic--perfect for those who have allergy problems with oils or acrylics. Genesis pigments are tested to be the highest quality lightfast rating available. The colors do not change or shift as they dry. And all of the colors have the same viscosity, so blending is easy. Genesis is a thixotropic medium, meaning they are thick and stiff in the jar but become very creamy when mixed or stirred. Genesis doesn't air dry like oils, acrylics, or watercolors. It stays wet forever--or until you heat the paint to about 250 degrees. That means you can paint as long as you like and the paint will not dry. You never have to redo your color mixes. You never have paint dry in your brushes, and you don't ever have to clean your brushes (Use paper towels instead of rags for clean-up since Genesis will never dry in a rag.) When you want Genesis to dry, just heat it to 250 degrees. To dry Genesis in your kitchen oven, simply preheat the oven to 275 degrees, turn it off, and place the wet painting inside. Close the oven door for about five minutes. That is all it takes for a thin coat of paint. You may want to adjust the drying time according to how thick your paint is and what type of surface it is on.
